1st BLUEMED Research Funders Workshop

One of the goals of BLUEMED is the creation and consolidation of an Operational Network of marine and maritime Research Funders (public agencies and ministries but also other funding initiatives, including the private sector). The aim of this network is to add value to the EU investments by contributing to coordinate the available funding from different sources in order to make a more efficient use of national and European resources. The Operational Network will strengthen the cooperation among research funders for the implementation of the BLUEMED SRIA, facilitating the alignment of national priorities (research and innovation strategies and programmes) and funding issues for joint actions to address the key challenges and goals of the BLUEMED SRIA.
